The Blackfield Festival taking place annually in Gelsenkirtchen’s Amphitheatre celebrates its 8th birthday! The festival has advanced to one of the dark scene’s highly acclaimed festivals, continuously striving to give its fans the best of the said music spectrum. Also the 8th Blackfield Festival will span over three days, taking place from 12th to 14th June at the Amphi Theatre in Gelsenkirchen. Again, there will be only one stage, so you can see all bands in full, if you just like.

Of course we were joking around a bit with this review of ‘Industrial Headbang’ by REAPER because of April Fool’s Day. Even journalists at a dark music magazine have a sense of humour sometimes... and so had the band REAPER by being part of this joke and preparing a fake cover and some funny information about the upcoming single. But what is true is that there will be a new REAPER album this year and of course a single. The album will be titled ‘Alternative Energy’ and will be released in late summer/ early fall.
