Legendary classic rock quintet Europe will be releasing a special, limited edition box-set of their latest album War Of Kings via Hell & Back Recordings in Germany and some parts of the EU on March 6th, in UK and some parts of the EU on March 09th and in USA on April 28th. This strictly limited release with include the album “War Of Kings” Ecolbook CD DeLuxe version with bonus track, an extended 7 inch booklet, the Making of DVD “WAR OF KINGS - How we did it” - a T-shirt (XL only), a sticker and a postcard. The band will be touring the UK with Black Star Riders starting March 2nd, and lead singer Joey Tempest states loudly and proudly that War Of Kings is “…is the album we always wanted to make ever since we were kids. Our adventure is still ON!”

A fresh breeze runs through the international Modern-Metal-scene. No other band currently merges the essences of Gothic-, Nu- and Symphonic-Metal as explosively as Aeverium on their debut album „Break Out.“ The album  starts out with a whizz-bang-projectile of a song, expertly fusing the energy of early Linkin Park with the cinematic sound of Evanescence in the album's title track, while brilliantly showcasing how well Aeverium's two singer complement each other: on the one hand a versatile male singer who can easily handle the entire range of Modern Metal vocals, from hard shouts to melodic power vocals, plus a powerful female voice that captivates with an impressive bandwidth ranging from Heavenly Voices to operatic singing, on the other. Progressing through „Break Out“, Aeverium prove that they can also handle the symphonic terrain of bands like Within Temptation or Nightwish expertly, only to lunge back into a full frontal assault of power riffs in the next moment.

Rock icons Whitesnake are set to return with their 12th studio album this spring. The Purple Album will be released in Europe on May 15th and in North America on May 19th via Frontiers Music SRL. The Purple Album is a re-imagination of classic songs from David Coverdale’s time as the lead singer for Deep Purple’s Mark 3 and Mark 4 studio albums. The album is currently available for pre-order in various configurations on Amazon: a standard edition (http://geni.us/WSPurpleREGamz), a deluxe edition (http://geni.us/WSPurpleDLXamz) featuring 2 bonus tracks, 4 music videos and a Behind The Scenes featurette on the recording of the album and in a double LP vinyl format. Deathproof is a Canadian-American electronic music duo formed by producer/singer Chris DeMarcus (Front Line Assembly, Stiff Valentine, Dismantled) and drummer/singer Jason Bazinet (Front Line Assembly, Sounds of Mass Production, 16volt). Chris works out of various recording studios in Vancouver and at his home in Abbotsford, Canada. Jason is based out of New York, USA. The two started to write together via internet file exchanges and Skype after meeting on a tour with 16volt and Chemlab, Chris mixed the bands while Jason played drums.
