24th Wave Gotik Treffen with Agent Side Grinder, Dupont, Escape With Romeo, Fields Of The Nephilim, Samsas Traum, Sólstafir, Sol Invictus and many more

Twenty-four years ago, two Gothic people from Leipzig had an unusual idea: They didn't want to create yet another dark music festival but rather a supra-regional gathering of like-minded fellows for relaxed meeting, chatting and celebrating. When the 1st Wave-Gotik-Treffen took place in 1992 at the edge of Leipzig with about 2,000 visitors and just a handful of bands, it is unlikely that anyone imagined that within a few years the WGT would become the largest meeting of Gothic people in the world, taking possession of a whole city every year at Whitsun. In 2015 the WGT takes place for the 24th time. From May 22nd till 25th again more than 20,000 Gothics from all over the world are expected to come together again in Leipzig to celebrate the Wave-Gotik-Treffen as THE international gathering of the dark family.

Summer 2015 is going to be hot – and not least because THE DARKNESS, which are a much awarded rock band surrounding falsetto master Justin Hawkiness, are finally back with a new record! The exclusively song ‘Barbarian’ is currently going viral and is quite an appetiser for the upcoming record ‘Last of our kind’ which was produced by guitarist Dan Hawkins. San Francisco-based classic doom metallers ORCHID have announced tour dates for Europe this coming summer - find the dates below. The band will soon be releasing a brand new EP, named 'Sign Of The Witch'. The band's fourth EP is slated for a May 22 release and will contain 4 brand new tracks. Commented guitarist Mark Thomas Baker: "It's been a few years since we've recorded and we've all gotten so much better at playing and working together. We're excited to let people hear what we're up to these days."

Swedish classic rockers GRAVEYARD have announced their new bass player, Truls Mörck, who will replace Rikard Edlund from now on. Commented the band: "A wise women once said: he who hesitates, masturbates. That's why we haven't wasted any time getting ready for the future. Mörck originally helped founding the band back in 2006 and played guitar on GRAVEYARD's self-titled debut album (2007). Furthermore the band has announced to be working on a brand new album.
