Special occasions are best celebrated among friends, which is why Solitary Experiments have asked a number of friends to put their own spin to the biggest hits from the latest outing „PHENOMENA.“ „The 20th Anniversary Compilation“ does not online contain the resulting remix work, but also the three best mixes to come out of the remix battle that the Berliners had initiated via Facebook. Also included is a smashing cover version of the Bronski-Beat-classic, which the band has treated to the trademark „Solitary-sound“ with loving care. The original tune was a massive influence on the group and pretty much the initial spark for trying to put together a music project. - Details

THE SMASHING PUMPKINS will release two new studio albums: ‘Monuments To An Elegy’ will be released on 5th December 2014 via Martha’s Music / BMG, ‘Day For Night’ will be out during next year. ‘Monuments To An Elegy’ is the middle part of a 44 songs grasping cycle, being started in 2009 with ‘Teargarden By Kaleidyscope’ and that will end with ‘Day For Night’. On drums, no one less than MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee can be heard. - Details

This is the label's 100th release and to celebrate this milestone, they have decided to give back to all those who have supported them over the years and release another FREE digital sampler. Again the label has used the sampler to help promote the current and upcoming releases and the 2014 version includes new tracks from Deviant UK, Frontal Boundary, Method Cell, Deathproof, AlterRed, ESA, Comasoft, Monstrum Sepsis and Stars Crusaders. There are new and unreleased remixes from Rein[Forced], Stromkern, Die Sektor, SMP, State of the Union, Autoclav1.1, Slave Unit and Mechanical Cabaret. The Munich band around Alex Wesselsky and Noel Pix will release the sixth album, ‘Schock‘, on 16th January 2015 via RCA Germany. Between Munich, Hamburg and Berlin, producer and guitarist Noel Pix and singer Alex Wesselsky worked on the songs for ‘Schock’. Result is a gloomy-beautiful Hydra, moving between modern Heavy Metal, Electro, Neue Deutsche Welle and cinematic melodies.
