UNISONIC, the German hard rock/heavy metal supergroup formed in 2009 and consisting of vocalist Michael Kiske (ex. Helloween), guitarist Kai Hansen (GammaRay, ex. Helloween), bass player and producer Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69), guitarist Mandy Meyer (Krokus, ex. Asia, Cobra, Asia, Katmandü) and drummer Kosta Zafiriou (ex. Pink Cream 69) are putting finishing touches to their second album, which will be released through earMUSIC on August 1st (August 4th in UK & August 12th in US). The album will be called „LIGHT OF DAWN" and will be released in four different configurations:

Christopher Lee, who will turn 92 on Tuesday 27th May is releasing next week a mini album appropriately called ‘Metal Knight’. Sir Christopher is well-known for his devotion to fantasy and heavy metal themes, with several album releases and collaborations in the genre to his name. Having started his second career working with the Italian Symphonic Metal band Rhapsody of Fire a decade ago. “I associate heavy metal with fantasy because of the tremendous power that the music delivers”.- Details

"Rayon X“, the title of the new album from cult French multimedia-fetish-art-project Die Form is interpretable in manifold ways, as, on the one hand, it is the French term for x-rays which are used to look underneath the surface of what is visible to the bare eye. On a more symbolic level, it can also stand for the section in the dark back end of a library, which holds all the forbidden titles or as an analogy for the photochemical process that makes photos visible. It is, thus, a perfect symbol for the central themes of the band helmed by sound-wizard and photo-artist Philippe Fichot, namely the glimpse behind the human facade and the exploration of “forbidden” themes and obsessions in a multi-medial combination of music and photography … and it also fits the new album hand in glove. - Details
