This calls for a celebration: Just in time for Midsommar, the four smart guys from THE EXPLODING BOY can raise their glasses to their new record deal with Drakkar Entertainment. With an independent "pop-goth-post-punk-rock" sound, influenced by the eighties, the Swedish guys have become an established band in the music scene. THE EXPLODING BOY can present several hit-singles in the German-alternative-charts and over 50 live shows across Europe during the past years. Especially 2012 was a very successful year for the boys with festival shows at WGT, Blackfield, Nordstern and Summer Darkness, a small club tour and as a crowning final the New Year's Eve convert in New York. In Mid-October, the band will release the new album "Four". Here's the tracklist:
