“Super Schwarzes Mannheim” (Super Black Mannheim) is an event series taking place regularly in Mannheim, taking place at the first Saturday every month. There usually is the club night with dark music plus every now and then there are several live acts. And the date on 7th September offers quite a cool line-up.

Woodkid
WOODKID is an alternative melodrama Pop Project from Yoann Lemoine. He is a French visual artist and singer/ songwriter. He filmed the music video ‘Teenage Dream’ (KATY PERRY), ‘Back to December’ (TAYLOR SWIFT) and ‘Blue Jeans’ (LANA DEL RAY). His own music video ‘Iron’ (2011) was the first breakthrough, followed with ‘Run boy run’.

Norwegian Blackjazz band SHINING will be supporting THE OCEAN in Europe this fall. HACRIDE and TIDES FROM NEBULA will be opening. Jørgen Munkeby of SHINING comments: “I love bands that seamlessly blend genres and make their own type of music. Therefore it’s wonderful to share the stage with the German band The Ocean. I think these evenings will be amazing for a wide range of music lovers. Can’t wait to come out and hit you over the head with a heavy slap of Blackjazz!” SHINING’s latest album “One One One” was released in June. The band has, since their breakthrough with “Blackjazz” in 2010, solidified their role as musical pioneers. "One One One” is out in the Benelux via Indie Recordings (Benelux distribution: Suburban). Dutch Rock band STREAM OF PASSION decided to use crowd funding to raise money for their next album. An international campaign has been set up via Indiegogo-platform, enabling fans to buy unique band-related items. In total, an amount of 25,000 euros needs to be collected. The items for sale vary from a download, CD or merchandise package to a role in the new video clip, a dress or violin from singer Marcela or a musical lesson by one of the band members. Even a complete BBQ with a show of STREAM OF PASSION is for sale.
