Relapse Records this week unveils a pummeling upcoming split between two prime acts in the contemporary doom/sludge circuit, COUGH and WINDHAND. With both COUGH and WINDHAND hailing from the unrestrained Richmond, Virginia underground, the choice to team the two of them up for the brutal Reflection Of The Negative split album was a simple one, and the results are, as expected, thunderous and immense. COUGH leads off, delivering a characteristically electrifying down-tuned epic track, while their brethren in WINDHAND serve up two brand new epic songs for their half of the dirge. While the track listing bears merely three tracks, this monstrous split bears nearly forty minutes of premier doom at its absolute gloomiest. The album acts as a precursor for both bands’ upcoming full-lengths, which are both currently being conceived.

After their breath-taking concert at the Brandenburger Tor on New Year’s Eve, the band comes now back to Germany! Neil Francis Tennant and Christopher Sean Lowe will play a concert during the renowned Dortmund Music Week on 1st July 2013. Destination on this day for all fans will be the Westfalenhalle, where PET SHOP BOYS surely will burn down a summer firework.

This new work clearly attests the band's excellence in songwriting, production and technical skills. A video from the first single, "King of Unknown", has been released online. "TILL YOU TURN", the second chapter of the band, features interesting collaborations: two songs produced by Olly Riva (The Fire); a track played by Maki (bass player of Lacuna Coil); two tracks produced by Dysfunction and mixed with the collaboration of Logan Mader; a song featuring with Paolo Valli on drums. The EP also includes three tracks from "Ground Zero Live" (the band's first gig).

Purple Pyramid Records will be releasing a Special Collector's Re-issue of UK progressive rock legends Nektar's classic Sci-Fi themed, prog-psych masterpiece 'Journey To The Centre Of The Eye' on February 26, 2013. The CD will include the original album mix fully remastered, original liner notes by famed rock biographer Dave Thompson and two rare bonus tracks! This re-issue kicks off a series of Nektar catalog releases that will culminate with the release of a new studio album, 'Time Machine' coming this summer 2013.
