UK extreme metallers Cradle of Filth are set to release their new masterwork ‘The Manticore & other Horrors’ this Hallowe’en on Peaceville Records. The title of this, Cradle Of Filth's tenth studio full-length, can be likened to a bestiary, a collection of stories on Monsters; personal demons, Chimeras, literary fiends and world-enslaving entities to blame but a few, Manticore being the ravening title track. It is a song about a beautiful mythological horror that comes to be feared as the disfigurehead of foreign occupation in the Indian provinces. The songs Illicitus and Pallid Reflection bare the sweet ingredients of vampirism and lycanthropy; the wicked For Your Vulgar Delectation and Frost On her Pillow are woven perversely into grim fairytales, whilst classic, monumental tracks like The Abhorrent and Siding With The Titans both extol tentacular Lovecraftian values.

With a unique mix of Shoegaze-Soundscapes, New Wave, Modern Electronica and Industrial Rock in the vein of early Nine Inch Nails, British band Officers is widely hailed as one of the “next big thing” to come out of the UK. “On The Twelve Thrones” was not only voted album of the year in Artrocker Magazine by none other than Electro-pioneer Gary Numan, but also universally praised by the British press. The band manages the tight wire act beween club-compatible electronic music, noise, solid guitar riffs and rich atmosphere with flying colors.

"A coming storm"- this is the motto by which the five young musicians have been storming the German metal-scene successfully. And within only two years they have managed to play at the Wacken-Open-Air, just in time for the worldwide release of their second album “Kings will fall”. Their aim is to enthral their fans with their passionate music. They want to contribute a new sound to the metal scene, which not only inspires inveterate metal fans. It soon became clear that exactly the right people had met after years of experience with other projects to assault the hall of fame of Metal together.

The work of JOACHIM WITT as an artist, starting with his overall success ‘Goldener Reiter’ in 1981, also describes the life of the man behind the songs. His songs always have been much more than just musical statements - they are equally ear witnesses of a biography featuring all ups and downs as the story of JOACHIM WITT is not the classic steady story of success. After having had creative differentials and having released two outputs by himself, the five years following 2007 remained silent for the untamable "creative bullhead" - until he came up with the idea of creating a "cathedral of pop music", at this stage already having passed the age of 50.
