Finland’s death metallers DECAYING have set "The Last Days Of War" as the title of their of their new full-length album. The record will feature eight tracks, clocking in at approximately 46 minutes, and is tentatively due for release in early 2013 through Hellthrasher Productions. Regarding how the upcoming album compares to 2011's critically acclaimed “Encirclement”, vocalist and guitarist Matias Nastolin said: “Musically "The Last Days Of War" is going to have a little more doom metal influences than "Encirclement" had, perhaps it's more in the vein of our first release "Devastate". Nevertheless all of the songs mangle their way forward like a sledgehammer - really heavy, generally mid paced and riff oriented. Even the doomier parts won't slow the songs down, and we think everything remains interesting from the start to finish.

DANKO JONES will release their new album 'Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue' on 21st September in Germany. So far, no cover picture is available, but we already have some details for you:
Danko Jones knows all of these things, but more than just celebrate the mythology of rock ‘n’ roll, he stands as a model of all the hard work required to honour its legacy—all the overnight drives, sleepless nights, long-distance relationshipping, and pints of spilt blood and sweat (but no tears—there’s no crying in rock ‘n’ roll). It’s the only life he’s known for the past 16 years, the gory details of which are on full display in the recently released documentary DVD, Bring on the Mountain, and upcoming tell-all book Too Much Trouble: A Very Oral History of Danko Jones. Given everything he’s been through, it’s no surprise to find that rock ‘n’ roll has left Danko Jones a little black and blue. But he’s always itching for the next hit—like the sweet little heartbreakers that populate his songs, rock ‘n’ roll is an addiction he don’t wanna quit.

Here’s some news directly from the band:
Hello fans & friends... Most unfortunately, I'm sad to report that BOTH the Munich and Berlin performances have been cancelled. The situation is quite complicated... To avoid tedious details, I will simply say these performances could not be realized.
I was recently informed about the volatile circumstances this past Sunday morning. Though extensive contracts were signed over a month ago, the promoter in Munich has chosen to "back out" of the legal performance agreement... For reasons we do not yet fully understand, they have "changed their minds" about working with SM... Obviously, they've put SM in an extremely difficult situation, but we bear them NO "ill will." We only hope we can make the best out of these "altered" circumstances. This IS the music industry... Things like this happen ALL the time... It is what it IS!
