The first 18 acts from the line-up of this year’s METAL HAMMER Paradise have been confirmed and increase the anticipation with well-known international bands and popular national acts. The festival in the holiday and leisure park Weissenhäuser Strand celebrates its 10th anniversary on November 17th and 18th, 2023 and was sold out in no time. A small contingent of tickets without accommodation is still available online.
Just a few weeks ago, Thrash Metal icons KREATOR ended their celebrated tour through Germany and are now getting ready for their headlining performance at METAL HAMMER Paradise 2023. Symphonic Metal band EPICA will lead the line-up alongside the Essen-based band. AMORPHIS announce themselves from Scandinavia. PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS promise a corresponding homage with the addition “Plays Motörhead”. KNORKATOR will provide the right pinch of humour. The band around frontman Stumpen will surely make Metal heads laugh with their always amusing performance. A rather dark metal circus is coming up with AVATAR. DESTRUCTION have been an integral part of the German Metal scene since the early 80s. Icelandic alternative sounds come from SÓLSTAFIR.

Osi and the Jupiter & Grift
Hailing from the shadowy forests of Ohio amongst the echoes of old songs dwell the haunting hymns of OSI AND THE JUPITER. Sean Kratz offers his multi- instrumental talent in honour to Northern Pagan traditions and in worshipful tribute to the peaceful finally of death. From its birth in 2015, the focus of the project has been on the spiritual connection between nature and the will of the old Gods - channelled through various representations of life, death and rebirth, this connection speaks through these musical creations, resonating as wordless tributes to these nebulous yet fundamental concepts.
