The soundtrack of the brand-new Marvel superhero action movie ‘The Avengers’ is a super showcase for all Alternative Rock bands. First of all: SOUNDGARDEN! The band from Seattle is back after its reunion in 2010 with the first new studio song for 15 years! The track is called ‘Live to Rise’ and made a bombastic impression in the best sense of words, it is the title for the final credits of the the action spectacle. Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America – all big superheroes of the Marvel comics save the world together from going under in ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’. Actors in the movie are among others Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.

The final pieces for Graspop Metal Meeting 2012 are slowly falling into place. In keeping with our GMM tradition, the lineup for this summer is once again a wonderful mix of tradition and innovation. Miss FD took her dark electro sound in a whole new direction by turning up the heat with the release of the electro-rock single "Infatuated", a siren song that weaves her trademark pulsing beats & sensual melodies with the threatening guitar licks of Robert Dante. Now FD and director Adam Alvarez have summoned up the enticing visuals for that track, blending the futuristic sheen of black latex with a vintage backdrop of Gothic scarlet to seduce the eye as well as the ear. The video for "Infatuated" was filmed in West Palm Beach, and made its world premiere on 24th April 2012.

ULTRAVOX will be back with the first studio album for 28 years! On 25th May 2012, Midge Ure, Billy Currie, Chris Cross and Warren Cann will release “Brilliant” on EMI. After their re-union and a sold-out “Return To Eden” tour in 2009, ULTRAVOX recorded 12 songs for their new album - in original line-up! In September and October, the band will be on UK tour.
