FREE & EASY FESTIVAL: Fiddler’s Green & Mr. Irish Bastard
Every year in the time of the summer holidays, a festival, the so-called Free & Easy Festival, takes place at the Backstage in Munich. There is a daily programme, consisting of concerts, cinema, theatre, parties, cabaret… And the best thing: the entry is free! This year, the festival takes place for the 18th time and lasts from the 21st July 2012 up to the 4th August 2012. A lot of great bands are already announced, until now more than 40 events!

Standby Records is pleased to announce the further growth of their “Rock N’ Roll 2.0” roster with the addition of Hollywood based industrial/rock band “Davey Suicide” and the May 1st premiere of their “Generation Fuck Star” video on Blank TV. “My predecessors went indie first and it felt like it's right thing to do. Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is to find the team that believes in what you do” said lead singer, Davey. “It spoke volumes to me when Standby and my management said, ‘fuck yeah, lets make Generation Fuck Star the first track.’ In my life, I've had many instances where the industry has told me, ‘no.’ This instance was the first of many that confirmed, to me, that this team shared my vision.”

Helalyn Flowers have launched an exclusive preview of the new track "Before The Sunshine", taken from the band's upcoming album.You can already get the track on the earlier mentioned "Sounds from the Matrix 012" compilation which is now out as a low-priced 19-track on iTunes, Amazon US, Amazon UK and Amazon DE (and other download stores). Helalyn Flowers are the Italian duo N0emi Aurora (vocals) and Max (music). Since 2007 they have been releasing a couple of albums that were especially well received in the indie pop rock scene, thanks to the mix of electronics and rock with NOemi's luscious vocals (and looks!).
