Laibach - “The Coming Race Tour - Love is still alive”
LAIBACH are at Fabrik Coesfeld after almost 36 years with one of their rare and exclusive live shows. ‘Love is Still Alive’ is a song created for the sci-fi comedy ‘Iron Sky - The Coming Race’. Film and song deal with the apocalyptic: the world has ended, a few people have survived, they escape into the universe and fly to Mars, where they found their own colony. Post-post-colonialism, if you will, LAIBACH for Future. At the beginning of 2021, LAIBACH released the original soundtrack for this film. There are also insights into their musical ‘Wir sind das Volk’ and a cross-section of the repertoire of a band that is legendary because it has created its own artistic gesture.
