In this spring 2011 Gothminister returns! With the new album „Anima Inferna“, produced by US-soundwizard Neil Kernon, he surpasses even the most optimistic expectations. Thickest Metal-riffs march relentlessly in unison with fat Electro-sequences, Shuffle-beats arouse us – and the Master himself reveals an astonishing range of vocal-art: from the deepest Gothic-dungeons up to the higher spheres of steaming Rock he summons us. Verses of viciously barked hythm-figures are followed up by overwhelming refrains – which themselves are sometimes followed by yet another, new chorus of intensified modification. You don’t believe it? Just listen for example to such killer-tracks as “Stonehenge“, “Liar“ or “Juggernaut“.

Sweden’s THE CROWN are a band that is trying to avoid well trodden paths. Hence they have made a very special video available that only a few heavy bands would dare to release. Their friend and photographer Patrik Skoglöw followed them around to create an animated photo-video for the song “Falling ‘neath The Heaven’s Sea”. The song was only available as bonus-track on their latest album “Doomsday King”.

That was a close one: directly following the announcement of its April release date, a few computer-savvy fans "stole" the cover art of the forthcoming KMFDM album “WTF?!” from a server of their US-based label Metropolis Records, and within minutes had leaked it onto a number of forums. The cover displays an attractive woman with a burning stick of dynamite – positioned in her cleavage. After the initial surprise, KMFDM-head Sascha “Käpt’n K” Konietzko realized that band and label had actually been rather lucky: “The album master was scheduled to be put on the same server just a few days later, it was fortunately still at the mastering studio in Los Angeles. Such an early leaking of this album would have been a complete catastrophe for us. Well, at least it goes well with the album title: WTF?!"
