For their inaugural release, Midnight Legacy is presenting the first-ever widescreen release of Alien 2 On Earth. The uncut, English language, 1.85 widescreen release of the 1980 Italian Horror / Sci-Fi film directed by Ciro Ippolito (Sam Cromwell), is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on March 22.
This film has never been released in the United States... Only a handful of countries saw a cropped and edited VHS release nearly thirty years ago. This definitive version, transferred from the original 35mm negative, runs longer than any other version seen throughout the world. It is the presentation that finally represents the intended vision of Alien 2 On Earth.

Covenant
It has been announced for what seemed almost like an eternity, and more than one fan of Swedish trio COVENANT might have been wondering when or if the new album 'Modern Ruin' would be finally seeing the light of day at all. But eventually, in January 2011, and after the preceding 'Lightbringer' EP, it came out and presented COVENANT at their freshest and most inventive; maybe less catchy and more ambitious.

Overkill, Destruction, Heathen, After All
Ever since the year of 1980, OVERKILL have managed to establish themselves as one of the milestones of American Thrash Metal. They have undergone many line-up changes and released 15 studio records, the first one being entitled ‘Feel the Fire’ (1985) and the most recent one ‘Ironbound’ (2010, via Nuclear Blast Records). OVERKILL is known for their energetic and powerful live shows.

Power of Metal 2011: Symphony X, Nevermore, Psychotic Waltz, Mercenary, Thaurorod
Again this year, there'll be the double-headlining tour under the established name POWER OF METAL, travelling several countries like Germany, Switzerland or Italy and bringing them...Yeah, what are they bringing exactly? A mixed bag of bands which are all top-class in the metal genre and their own right! The names to mention first of course should be the headlining acts, this time being SYMPHONY X and NEVERMORE which means virtuoso progressive sound collages to please the ears but also the necks.
