After they captured the rotten planks of a deathship in the year 2004 (on ‘The Deathship Has A New Captain’), travelled through the country of Vlad Tepes, the Impaler, through the creepy Carpathians in 2005 (on ‘Carpathia - A Dramatic Poem’), and lived amongst wolves in 2007 (on ‘"The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey’), Schwadorf and Konstanz are coming full circle in 2010. On ‘Set Sail To Mystery’, they once again set the tattered, ashen sails of the deathship and head towards midnight, death, and doom. - Details

Eisbrecher
The year 2008 became one very hot year for the frosty guys of EISBRECHER who released their current album ‘Sünde’ that year, which even made it to the German album charts. That fact even blew the band away who normally does that with their audiences on their energy-driven live shows. However, such a success can be quite motivating, or it can drive an artist to copy the well-tried formula once again, but in the case of EISBRECHER and their yet untitled upcoming album, chances of the latter are near zero.

That which accumulated during the years of tranquility and silence seems to have been quite something! With undiminished, exuberant creativity and strength, MANTUS release their latest masterpiece, 'Demut', even as the last sounds of ?Requiem? have barely faded away. On 'Demut', MANTUS continue the lyrical themes of 'Requiem' in that they grapple with the subject matter of the 'vanitas' art movement of the 16th and 17th centuries, which held that man should visualise the finality of all things and that death stands by as the omnipresent power over us all, so as to teach us humility (Demut in German). Nevertheless, or perhaps indeed because of this, MANTUS have created an extremely powerful, indeed rocking album.
