Fresh news from the Apoptygma Berzerk camp. As most will remember we announced a while back that Gun Records had called it quits on February 13th and as you know Stephan Groth and Co were signed to this label. We reported back then that the Gun artist roster would be partially taken care of by the Berlin department of Sony Music, while international acts were to be handled by Sony 's international division in Munich. National acts were expected to be marketed through the Sony sub-labels Four Music or Columbia Germany. Groth announced yesterday evening that the band indeed found a new home at Columbia records and that they will be releasing a new single. More news as we get it.Source: Side Line Magazine

The announced premier of the video to ‘Peace’ had to be postponed. Initially the German premier was announced for today on http://www.tape.tv/; however the video wasn’t finished right in time. DEPECHE MODE commissioned some little last minute changes yesterday, so the premier was postponed to Tuesday, 9th June 2009 11:00 AM. On tape.tv you can register for a mail alarm for the premier and on Monday the time has finally come: DEPECHE MODE give the first concert of their current ‘Tour of the Universe’. After the postponements of the shows in Hamburg and Düsseldorf, Leipzig now is the host for the German opening concert! Like on the last DEPECHE MODE tour all show will be recorded in top quality again and sold via LiveHereNow. The live recordings to the ‘Tour of the Universe’ can be pre-ordered here. The gothic band around vocaliste Liv Kristine, finished their studio work for their fourth album "Njord." The album is nearly complete and there was already a listening session last week. To ease the anticipatory wait, LEAVES' EYES will release an MCD entitled "My Destiny" comprised of exclusive non-album tracks. Expect this gem of a Gothic Metal release on 24 July 2009.
Earlier this year their first live dvd "We Came with the Northern Winds - En Saga I Belgia" came out, recorded during their performance on the Belgium 'Metal Female Voices' festival. Produced by Alexander Krull and released by Napalm Records.
