Die Happy – Live & Acoustic

With their new album ‘Tératologie’, ETHS made their breakthrough in their hometown and secured themselves a place in the hearts of all metal fans. The band from Marseille around the powerful-voiced singer Candice manages to combine brutal riffs in best post KORN tradition with hymnal octave shifts like NIGHTWISH to create a distinct mixture, admirers of elaborated guitar arrangements will be pleased with. The members of this French band are no newcomers and have been involved in several other musical projects already. Staif and Greg form the band WHAT THE FUCK in 1996. One year later, Candice joins the line-up and they change their name to MELTING POT. But the journey has just started. In 1999, drummer Guilaume becomes a member after leaving his former band SCHOCKWAVE. 6 months later, Bass player Roswell joins in and the line-up is finally complete.

It’s already the third time Motor (Label, radio station, web portal, IP TV channel, and organizer of parties and events) invites to its in-house festival ‘Motor im Grünen’. The historical grounds of Zitadelle Spandau already proved to be a perfect location last year for the indie rock elite EDITORS, DIRTY PRETTY THINGS, POLARKREIS 18, IAMX, FOTOS, THE GUNS and THE RAIN. Headliner of this year’s edition is great CLUESO from Erfurt who’s amongst the top German artists since his last album ‘So sehr dabei’ and the corresponding tour.

Located in the federal state of Hessen and half an hour away from Frankfurt am Main, Darmstadt is primarily known for its Technical University and the famous international companies operating from there. For almost 11 years, the SCHLOSSGRABENFEST, a music festival, has become a further attraction that especially enriches Darmstadt´s cultural scene. Many culinary delicacies from all over the world, free admission and an excellent musical line-up attracted more than 400,000 visitors in 2008.
