Puddle Of Mudd - “European Tour 2018” - Support: Rev Kiddo, Psycho Village

Now this will be one for the books: The legendary Hard Rock formation PUDDLE OF MUDD celebrates their resurrection with a tour through Europe’s cellars and small clubs. This is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to come close with a band that sold over 8 million copies of their major debut album ‘Come Clean’ since 2001 alone.

PUDDLE OF MUDD was formed around lead singer Wes Scantlin back in 1991. It took the band 10 years to grab a record deal, as the band attracted the attention of LIMP BIZKIT singer Fred Durst, who signed them for his label Flawless Records. This paved the way for their chart-topping release ‘Come Clean’, which contains songs for the ages, such as ‘Control’, ‘Blurry’, and first and foremost ‘She hates me’. Four more albums followed over the years. The latest release from 2011 is called ‘re:(disc)overed’, and contains a collection of reinterpreted (‘covered) rock songs from a diverse collection of artists such as NEIL YOUNG, AC/DC, or LED ZEPPELIN.

While there have been some reports of “eccentric” behaviour by front man Wes in the past, such as appearing intoxicated on stage and accusations of lip-synching, the singer seems to have left those dark days behind him. This leaves the door open to the recording of new material, which hopefully will occur at some point in time in the future. Meanwhile, get ready to get your ass kicked while sweating it out in the cosy hall of the “Haus der Jugend” to some solid American Hard Rock.
