Kamelot – “Shadow Empire” Tour – Special guests: Evergrey + Visions Of Atlantis
KAMELOT are pleased to announce the second European Leg of “The Shadow Tour”. Dates begin March 8th in Nijmegen, Netherlands and run through March 23rd, in Prestatyn, UK. “We’re very excited to announce we’re bringing “The Shadow Empire Tour” to Europe for another round. On the previous tour we missed some of our favourite cities and we will be making some new setlists for the second run.”
The American Melodic Power Metal band KAMELOT released their twelfth output in April 2018 entitled ‘The Shadow Theory’. The record brought the group the third place in the German Charts - the highest chart positioning, so far. The “Shadow Over Europe” Tour 2019 introduces the progressive metallers with classical orchestral influences to Switzerland, to the Netherlands, to France, to the United Kingdom and also Germany will be represented in March with three gigs. Head of the band is the ingenious string sorcerer Thomas Youngblood, who has been there since the beginning. He writes most of the songs and decisively influences the band with the special dark sound. After Mark Vanderbilt (1991 - 1997), Roy Khan (1997 - 2011), probably the best-known shouter of the troupe, is, after a short visit by Fabio Leone, since 2012 Tommy Karevik. He already excelled in ‘Silverthorn’ and ‘Haven’ with rousing vocals and was able to prove his equally great stage presence on the previous tours.
The band’s latest music video for the song ‘MindFall Remedy’ chronicles live footage taken from KAMELOT’s 2018 North American tour and offers a glimpse of what you can expect when the band takes the stage. Watch the video HERE:
