Black Veil Brides & Asking Alexandria – “The Resurrection Tour” Europe 2018
January 2018 seems like a dream come true for all Metalcore Fans, as two of the genre’s most exciting bands have hit the road together and are bound to appear in Cologne’s Palladium. ASKING ALEXANDRIA are from York, UK, and were founded in 2006. They quickly made a name for themselves, by blending electronic sounds with heavy Metalcore riffs, and touring relentlessly on both sides of the Atlantic with bands like WE CAME AS ROMANS, STICK TO YOUR GUNS, and BRING ME THE HORIZON. Having re-united with their original lead vocalist Danny Worsnop, they also released their latest, self-titled album in December 2017.
The BLACK VEIL BRIDES also formed in 2006, but in Cincinnati, OH around singer Andy Biersack. After several adjustments in their line-up and a relocation to Los Angeles, their career started to pick up steam and landed them a record deal as well as tours with MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, SLASH, and MÖTLEY CRÜE. With the last band they also share certain optical similarities, such as the black and white makeup, black clothing and long hair, and they have cited them also as musical inspiration for their version of Glam Metal.
