Cold winter evening for a cold-wave concert. UNDERTHESKIN haven’t been playing in Poland for a year and this will be the one and only chance to see them on stage this year. Most prominent band of Europe’s Post-Punk and Cold Wave scene was in shadow for the lockdown period. This year they are sweepingly back on stage with few concerts in Germany and only one in their country. Leader and the mastermind of the band, Mariusz “VOID” Łuniewski feels great about being back to play live again.
UNDERTHESKIN’s music is an introverted journey through the coldest sounds of the 80s. Emotional vocals, hypnotic rhythm, nervous pulse of the bass guitar and analogue synthesizers unnoticeably creep under the listener’s skin. The band made their debut in 2015 and has recorded two highly acclaimed albums (‘Undertheskin’, ‘N E G A T I V E’) and a lot of concerts all over Europe.
