Haevn - Europe Tour 2023
Dreamlike melodies and crystal-clear voices that make you dream, all this is more than true for the band HEAVN. In their home country, the Dutch band has been very successful for years and even fills large halls there. But the small German fan community is steadily growing. These fans can be happy, because in October HEAVN will be coming to Germany for a few dates. Stops are in Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Dresden and Darmstadt.
The two composers Marijn van der Meer and Jorrit Kleijnen have been working on their sound in their Amsterdam studio since 2015. The ambient sound of HEAVN was initially very synthesiser-heavy and was later supported by “normal” instruments - in the meantime, a guitarist, a drummer and a bassist are part of the band. In studio recordings HEAVN also uses whole orchestras to get the sound as natural as possible, how they showed on their EP ‘Symphonic Tales’ with some their hits, like ‘Bright Lights’.
Their releases include the 2015 album ‘Eyes Closed’, three EPs and lot of Single releases. After their last release in the year 2022, ‘Holy Ground’, we hope that HEAVN will perform new material on their tour and that a new album will be released soon.
