AC/DC, the legendary band with countless albums sold, is causing excitement today among millions of fans around the world with the announcement of their “POWER UP” European tour! The “POWER UP” tour, named after their latest studio album, which reached number 1 in 21 countries, will take the band to Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France, and Ireland for 21 dates this summer. “POWER UP” will be the band’s first European tour in eight years and will see them perform in some of the continent’s largest stadiums. In Germany, Gelsenkirchen, Munich, Dresden, Hockenheimring, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, and Hanover are on the tour schedule! Tickets for the Germany shows will be available from Friday, 16.02., 11:00 am on Eventim and at official box offices.AC/DC played their very first concert on December 31, 1973 at the Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. They are one of the most influential Rock bands in history and have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. The LP ‘Back In Black’ is the “best-selling album by a band of all time” and the “third best-selling album by an artist” with over 50 million copies sold worldwide, with sales continuing to rise. AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 and into the Music Victoria Awards Hall of Fame in their home country of Australia.
