One of the most important Emo bands is back! After the four-piece band from Arizona wowed audiences at their shows in Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt in 2022, a return to Europe is long overdue. All the more fantastic is the news that German audiences will get their money’s worth at three stops this November.
30 years of band history and 10 album releases later, Jim Adkins, Rick Burch, Zach Lind and Tom Linton are back with their acclaimed singles ‘Place Your Debts’ and ‘Something Loud’. With the upcoming November shows, the pop-punk legends are not only celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album ‘Clarity’, but also the new music that is currently being created in the studio.
Starting out as a METALLICA cover band at their high school, they founded their own project in 1994. The name comes from Tom’s younger brother, who as an eight-year-old subtitled a painting “Jimmy Eat World”. Over the course of their stellar career, they have played in the same legendary ranks as GREEN DAY, BLINK-182 and FOO FIGHTERS and since several singles from their 2001 album ‘Bleed American’ spent a total of 33 weeks in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, the band has become an integral part of the alternative rock cosmos.
At their concerts, JIMMY EAT WORLD show time and again why they are still one of the most important Emo and alternative bands today. After touring North America together with FALL OUT BOY last year, Europe will get its money’s worth in 2024. Special guest PUP will also be heating up the crowd. The energetic Canadians Stefan Babcock, Nestor Chumak, Zack Mykula and Steve Sladkowski have been playing their way into the hearts of audiences with their impulsive Punk since 2010. Their sound is uninhibited and banging. Their shows are rousing and wild.
