This year, quite a special festival takes place in the Munich Olympic Stadium already for the 7th time: The Munich Summer Night’s Dream!

At 6:15pm, the musical part of the evening begins with the British rock band LIVINGSTON whose members come from four different countries. With their singles 'Broken' and 'Go' (Olympic song of the ZDF, Winter Olympics in 2010) they reached also the German charts. Following is the band KELLNER from Regensburg who play a mixture of folk, blues and pop. Then at 8:00pm starts as headliner the German band UNHEILIG. They are currently the most successful German band, got countless honouring for their album 'Große Freiheit' album and occupied rank 1 of the German charts for 23 weeks.

Simultaneously to the concerts in the stadium, the Dachau based cover band OIS EASY plays current hits and Oldies on the sea stage at the Olympic lake and provides for party mood. After the concerts, a 35-minute fireworks of the superlatives takes place. The fireworks counts to the biggest in Germany. The festival has developed to a public magnet of the town over the years with reaching approx. 50,000 visitors. It takes place, by the way, also when it rains.
