Richie Kotzen, Billy Sheehan and Mike Portnoy are the WINERY DOGS.I think it's useless to start writing about each musician and the bands they have played, you all know them. ‘Hot Streak’ is their second album two years after their successful self-titled debut. The album is a mixture of funk, rock, blues, fusion jazz and aor. From technical point of view the album is more than perfect something absolutely normal for those musicians. Guitar solos bass solos great drumming and vocals influenced by Glenn Hughes is what we'll find in this album. All the songs of the album are very, very good but if I have to pick my favourites I would pick the funky ‘Oblivion’, the groovy ‘How Long’, the fusion jazz ‘Hot Streak’, the ballad ‘Fire’ and the southern soul ‘This Is Over’.
Conclusion: Conclusion: an album that if you are fans of quality music you must not miss!
