Review Flash

It was 13 years since the last STING “pop” album. That doesn’t mean STING was lazy taking the cash from “Best Of” tours. Quite the opposite as he released albums more in a medieval style, a musical and of course, reunited THE POLICE for a long awaited tour. But for long-time fans, it was quite long. From the first track on it’s clear: STING is back in his own style, sounding almost like in THE POLICE days. Apart from the superb ‘Inshallah’, clearly ‘Desert Rose’ little sister, almost no synthesizer or loops were used.

Conclusion: A back to the roots album proving STING hasn’t lost it and still sounds fresh and rock whenever he wants to.
