Chile’s RAIJIN are a Heavy Metal gut-punch served with speed and force not unlike the lightning god of the same name. Vocalist F. Steele’s voice is raw and powerful. He sounds true, aggressive and hits high notes with ease. The rhythmic base created by Vicky Bangs (Bass) and Jonathan Garcia (drums) fits really well into the very old-school style RAIJIN plays and the guitars are melodic, fast and complete the thoroughly honest music of RAIJIN. These guys often remind me of SKULL FIST and other bands with the same mind-set (no false Metal y’know?). After listening to this fine EP I just know I will do so again because it’s uplifting, true old-school heavy metal the way I like it. Check out the song ‘Moonlight’!
Conclusion: Look them up via Bandcamp and support these guys they deserve it!
