The older I grow the more I know; there are a few languages people in Portugal speak: Portuguese, Mirandese, English and Thrash Metal! Today I have the pleasure to risk my hearing by listening to THRASHWALL. The furious five-piece thrashketeers were formed in 2015 in order to melt faces left and right with their high energy no-holds-barred Thrash. Rodrigues on vocals is like a pit-bull, aiming for the throat. Branco and Coelho are a nasty six-string commando, firing riffs like a Gatling Gun while rhythm commissaries Gonçalves and Garras hold the explosive parts together, coating riffs, hooks and vocals to operate this explosive in a controlled manner. If you dig Thrash of the fun kind, that awakes the thirst for beer, booze and behaving bananas you should check in on THRASHWALL!
Conclusion: For fans of old-school bands like: OVERKILL, EXODUS and SACRED REICH (rather the party mind set than the music). Favourite of the evening: ‘Mosh in the Hall’.
