Review Flash

And once again I sit here at night and listen to the work of a multi-instrumentalist, this time his name is Andreas Leyer (IGNITION, SINFORCE, TWELVE ARMS, ex-AGE OF REBELLION, BLACK ANGUS). This dude has a nice and versatile singing voice that mostly covers the middle range but he shows that he can sing in a decent head voice too (impressive, he plays bass, guitar and drums too). The first demo called ‘Machine made God’ came to be in 2019 and the first full length ‘Symbiosis’ came out just a bit over a year ago. To be absolutely honest: I did not expect this kind of quality when it comes to songwriting and execution, songs like ‘Nightmares’ and ‘What’s Left Of Me’ are really awesome and beautifully arranged pieces of music (to do vocal harmonies with yourself is very cool, to vary both separated slightly is just brilliant). Leyer’s voice sometimes reminds me of a mixture of Bruce Dickinson (IRON MAIDEN) and Jake Rogers (VISIGOTH) which honestly, is impressive as fuck. If you like timeless Metal that sounds like the best pieces and soundscapes of the 80s, 90s and the present heavy sounds you should check this out!

Conclusion: Maybe one of the records of the year
