Tarja Turunen
Tarja Turunen is somewhat of a legend. While other big names prefer to stick to one genre, she splits her time between classic performances and rock gigs. While she is Finnish, her time is mostly spent in the world touring, and again, her concerts might turn up not on clubs or arenas, but in churches. Sometimes in not so large cities. While you can expect that any other musician always includes Helsinki in the route, it is absolutely not certain for Tarja, so I was excited to see her concert listed in the capital of Finland this time. Tarja did her "Ave Maria - En Plein Air" album this year with track list simple enough - thirteen different Ave Maria versions including her own one. It is also a tradition for Tarja to put aside rock gigs in Christmas time and do a classical tour. Interestingly, all her rock fans would show up on these gigs as well and they happen sometimes in the same rock venues. http://www.tarjaturunen.com / https://www.facebook.com/tarjaofficial

Eisbrecher with Special guest Schöngeist
One could have the feeling that all power of EISBRECHER’s batteries is gone by now after all the things the band had experienced this year: besides several festival appearances, the release of the new album ‘Schock’ at the beginning of the year, and a tour, the band also filmed a concert at the Circus Krone in Munich. And even though the Ice Breaker not runs on low level, there is enough energy left to be used at the end of the year for their Year End Show in Stuttgart.

Will Varley, Skinny Lister, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
After several shows in September last year, FRANK TURNER now is back on an extended tour through the bigger venues again, together with his SLEEPING SOULS, the known energetic rock show and the songs of his new and sixth studio album ‘Positive Songs for Negative People’. The show in Münster was one of the first of the tour and like several others to follow, the concert was sold-out, meaning a huge crowd was waiting for Frank and his band. But first, the audience could enjoy the two supporting acts, WILL VARLEY and SKINNY LISTER.

Dark Storm Festival 2015 with Unzucht, Tanzwut, Eisfabrik, Beyond the Black, Noisuf-X, Lord of the Lost, Faderhead, Welle:Erdball, Agonoize, Goethes Erben, Eisbrecher
When arriving in Chemnitz there were less people at the street than I expected. First I thought I was in a false town. It was quiet silent on this December day and cold. But that would change in less than one hour. The place in front of the Stadthalle filled up with many, many people who found the way to this event from the farthest corner of this country and maybe from other countries too. The Stadthalle was not very far from the main station and so I could walk this way in a few minutes. When I finally found my way and the building with a huge “Stadthalle” sign on it, I was waiting with many other people to get in.
