Morphose & Special Guests: audiocall
“Paths are made by walking.” Franz Kafka
So far, my concert reviews for Reflections of Darkness have focused solely on writing about DIARY OF DREAMS. The contact with the band has now become something very friendly, familiar; one knows each other, and capturing the mood becomes child’s play. However, to challenge myself a bit and to give space to the new, I have decided to take the plunge and write about two bands about which I basically know nothing or very little. MORPHOSE crossed my path briefly a while ago with ‘Spin the wheel’, but with AUDIOCALL, I had to start completely from scratch.

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators - “The River is Rising - Rest of the World Tour 24” - Special Guest: Mammoth WVH

David Garrett Trio - “Iconic Tour” 2024
He is both a Pop star and a classical musician. DAVID GARRETT, with his 400-year-old Stradivari violin, can certainly be called one of the most interesting artists of our time. David Christian Bongartz was born on 4 September 1980 in Aachen and was recognised as a musical wunderkind at a young age. His extraordinary talent for playing the violin has made him one of the most famous virtuosos of our time. At the age of 12, he signed his first recording contract with a record company, which at the time was purely classical. Today he often writes crossover music, such as on the album ‘Rock Synphonies’, where he recreates classic rock compositions on the violin.

Depeche Mode - “Memento Mori Tour” 2024
When adult people, some of them beyond the age of 50, are crying and embracing each other, then you know, that was the last concert of the current DEPECHE MODE tour - and who knows, maybe also the last concert ever. Especially the last of the three concerts in Cologne was almost unbeatable in terms of emotionality...
