Album Review

Listening to this album I have to wonder all the time, what was the reason to wishing to have a review on the CD on this site. But since it's not the first work of this kind of music which I have to review for dark public, it seem to be a tendency. So who Eric Penny is? He's a young man with hereditary predisposition for music originally from America. The touching stories about his parents' meeting in the high school choir or about his grandpa giving him his first guitar as a present could be found on his homepage. And so his life as well as his music is saturated with this touching nature. His tender vocals come quite well together with an acoustic guitar and melancholic lyrics.

‘Live At The Sofa Sessions’ is a live CD. It creates a nice warm atmosphere of one of those evenings when you come together with your company: there is wine, there are friends and there is a guitar. So you spend this wonderful evening full of magic singing heartfelt songs. You will listen to a tracks dedicated to pregnant wife and passed away grandfather or fine love songs about how hard it is to stop dreaming about the girl you love. Light thoughtful tracks of sense of life will be sang as well. Fresh melodies will make you feel summer breeze on your face or will remind you on the warmth of the chimney at the Christmas Eve. So if you're looking for a fine light acoustic music with nice male vocals, ‘Live At The Sofa Sessions’ is exactly what you need.
