Album Review
The man behind the project ODRADEK, named Michael Pfirrmann, is already known for his band INSCAPE. The audio engineer owns a studio in Lübeck (Germany). He recently started a solo project and now releases his debut ‘Zeichensetzung’.
This album is literarily inspired by Franz Kafka's strange creature described in the short story "The worries of a householder". In this case Michael Pfirrmann's music offers spoken lyrics. These would guide you to the question of human beings. The lyrics are underlined with melodic sounds. It could be described as a new blend of IDM, mixed up with industrial and soundtrack-like elements. This album is really interesting. Zillo e.g. share this opinion, the magazine released one track of this album on their compilation. Conclusion to this album: It' not calm but still calming. Nice connection!
