Label: Danse Macabre

Album Review

The recently signed infamous band now releases a new album. It fits perfectly to the Christmas time. But does any of you already know Olaf Seider? I guess no so I want you to introduce the man behind this project. He is a director, cutter and producer. He mostly did his jobs under pseudonyms. So you won't know Olaf Seider himself, but I'm sure any of you have seen pictures and heard music from him. He worked on over 50 music productions. So we shall not wonder about the fact that he's going to release his own solo project.

‘Zeitenwandel’ is one of the limited albums that fit into the German dark wave genre. It also combines the style of aggressive rock, seductive metal and underground electric pop. It also includes dance floor rhythms and emotional thinkable songs. From my point of view it's just a melting pot of already known songs, a copy of the style of successful artists in this genre... It's not really independent and nothing new to the listener. It suffice to fill some smaller dance floors and would be recommended by people who are not really in this scene - people who don't demand a great deal of this project.
