Swedish dark synth-pop icon HENRIC DE LA COUR will release his new single ‘Interlude’ on November 22. ‘Interlude’ is a more laid-back track than previous single ‘Hell You, Hell No’ that was released earlier this fall, but the power in his characteristic voice and artistic expression remains fully intact. We start off in a minimalist soundscape, where we hear a simple yet hypnotic vocal melody sweeps over a lo-fi beat. It doesn’t take very long until we suddenly find ourselves within in an electronic storm of darkness and chaos, which then crosses over to a redemptive string section. A dynamic and seamless arrangement where HENRIC DE LA COUR says a lot more with a lot less.

Shinoda, Delson, Farrell, and Hahn began meeting up more frequently over the past few years. Without much fanfare and no fixed agenda - they weren’t aiming to “restart the band” or anything like that. Instead, they simply wanted to spend more time together, rekindling the creativity and camaraderie that had formed the core of their friendship since their college days. During these meetups, they often invited different friends and collaborators to join them in the studio. A special connection developed with Armstrong and Brittain, and as they spent more time together, a natural chemistry evolved into something uniquely magical. This was the sound of musicians who had been making music for as long as they could remember - now rediscovering the electric energy of a fresh start. This was the birth of ‘From Zero’.
