ROBIN FOSTER, known by his tours with ARCHIVE and his band WE ARE BODIES, releases his fourth album ‘Empyrean’ on February, 3rd, via Membran Records. The extremely coherent music of British composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist ROBIN FOSTER is full of intrepid tensions, cinematic textures, electronic loops, floating synthesizer sounds and meter-high guitar waves. In his sound, there are traces of TALK TALK, SIGUR ROS, RADIOHEAD, NEW ORDER and even THE SMITHS, which allow ROBIN FOSTER's music to oscillate between subtlety and intensity. Added to this are influences from the world of cinema and soundtrack figures such as Ennio Morricone, which were a great influence for the cinematic post-rock on ‘Empyrean’.

BIRDPEN are writing pieces you think you know already with the first listening. Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen - “AggroShanty Tour” 2017

MR HURLEY & DIE PULVERAFFEN is a German folk band from Osnabrück, which consists of five members. The band sees itself as an early-time inspired pirate band and plays mainly at medieval, harbor and music festivals. In the years 2013 to 2016, the band performed at the Wacken Open Air at the Wackinger Stage every year, and in 2014 at the Festival Mediaval. In November 2014, the EP ‘Plankrock’ was released for which the songs of the older albums were re-recorded as rock versions with electric guitar and drums. The band was supported by three guest musicians. In the spring of 2016 the band went on their first own tour, which was called 'AggroShanty' in 7 cities.
