When the Brazilian duo Fab Viscardi and Gui Pires (ex-Aghast View) launched their Aesthetische project and the "Powerswitch" debut album, it became clear that their influences included lots of current dance music (but still offering that edgy EBM side). On the new album you'll discover collaborations with female American singer Mari Kattman (Day Twelve) and German artist Diana S. (Junksista). One thing is sure, Front 242 fans will enjoy this one for sure as it mixes the old school sound of this famous Belgian act with today's beats and hooks. The album will be out in 2 different physical version apart from the download (which is now available for pre-order via iTunes and Bandcamp). The 2CD boxset will include 11 alternative club and more old school oriented EBM remixes from Aesthetische themselves but also Edobot, Virgins O.R Pigeons, Deox 5, Halo In Reverse and more.Source: Newsletter

For the second time this month we´re ready to announce additionals bands for the Amphi Festival 2014. Following the latest entries Front 242, Lacrimosa and Torul we continue with: APOPTYGMA BERZERK | SHE PAST AWAY | THE JUGGERNAUTS.Usually it would seem rather odd to ask what a singer like Peter Schilling and the dark alternative scene have in common, if it wasn´t for APOPTYGMA BERZERK to step in with the proper answer. Last year the Norwegian triple-a act around singer and mastermind Stephan L. Groth took care of the 80s evergreen „Major Tom“ in their own way and achieved a viable club-hit in the tradition of „Until The End Of The World“, „Eclipse“ or „Shine On“, that even grows in a live-set. Thanks to their perfect symbiosis of e-pop and alternative rock elements, the Norwegians instantly pick up their audience anytime, anyplace. As the charming powerhouse they are, APOPTYGMA BERZERK already obliterated the Tanzbrunnen twice this way and, as they say goes: all good things are three!
