Brimming with confidence and justifiable pride Dutch rock band Vengeance have announced the release of their latest album Piece Of Cake: “People can expect what to my ears is the best Vengeance album to date,” declares guitarist Timo Somers, “the songs are a nice blend of old school Vengeance (think Arabia) and some more modern sounding songs. This time the instrumental side of the band is really outspoken, it features a lot of nice intros, solos and instrumental pieces. And to top it off, Leon sounds better than ever.”

“Never change a working system” is a popular saying in IT-circles and “PHENOMENA”, the new long player from Solitary Experiments showcases a mature band that is fully aware of all its strengths and plays the cards accordingly while avoiding any kind of stagnation at all costs, always carefully advancing the trademark sound with a myriad of new influences and elements. In 2013, the Solitary-Experiments-experience is more hit-laden than ever, as the club-filler “Trial And Error” (the MCD was sold out in a matter of weeks) and the highly wanted compilation track “Stars” which quickly became a DJ favourite effectively proved in advance. The Berlin-based band has pretty much always been the ideal link between Synth Pop sounds for the masses and the harder Electro-faction, this time around balancing real feelings, synthetic oomph and harsh elements to utter perfection.

It was love at first sight and now we meet her again - the MS RheinEnergie! Europe´s biggest and most sophisticated domestic event-ship simply defines a class on its own and we couldn´t imagine a better place to ring in the 10th anniversary of the Amphi Festival. On Friday, 25.07.2014, at 8:00 pm it is time again for 1,111 fans to embark on a river cruise along the Rhine, like even Cologne does not experience it every day. Whether in a relaxed mood on the sun deck or with the excitement of a live performance in the main hall – one can´t resist to absorb the unique atmosphere aboard the MS RheinEnergie. Our stars aboard the ship 2014 go by the names PROJECT PITCHFORK and SUICIDE COMMANDO who will both present themselves pointedly old-school this night! SUICIDE COMMANDO eventually open the evening musically with a „Vintage“-Set, while PROJECT PITCHFORK will enter the stage for a journey back in time. Their special „Early Years Set“ mainly focuses on their numerous classics from the 1990s. This unique show will only be performed once this night aboard the MS RheinEnergie.

“Paradise (What About Us?)”  will be released as an EP, containing four new songs.In addition to Paradise (What About Us?), the EP will contain demo versions of three brand new songs: “Let Us Burn”, “Silver Moonlight” and “Dog Days”. By releasing these demos we want to invite you in our home studio and show how we capture song ideas at an early stage of creating a new album. These demo versions are far from their final sound on the album, but will give you a hint of what we’re working on. It will be fascinating to hear how the end result will sound like, once the album is released. We hope to make the waiting time for the new album a little shorter and sweeter with this release. It’s so exciting to share the different stages of our music with you. Stay tuned for more important news on the EP. The EP Paradise (What About Us?), will be released on Friday September 27th world wide and on October 1st in North America.

After the two incredible shows in July in Leipzig, APOCALPTICA now proudly present the next "Wagner Reloaded - Apocalyptica meets Wagner" show date on the 27th of September in Leipzig. You can check out the previous show on the videostream of the german TV station MDR here. Watch the trailer here. 13 tracks of the exceptional premiere will be released on November 15, 2013 as an official live recording with the MDR Symphony Orchestra on CD and vinyl. This will be Apocalyptica's first ever live album! As of now, you can EXCLUSIVELY pre-order the autographed album or an edition with individual dedication on PledgeMusic. The exciting, atmospheric cover artwork has only just been finalized.
