Amanda Sommerville’s Trillium, My Favorite Scar, Dead Man’s Curse

This evening basically only presents heavy headliners at the small stage at 013, so make sure you don’t miss out on tickets. TRILLIUM is the new band around Amanda Summervile, an American singer who worked with amongst others AFTER FOREVER, EPICA, KAMELOT and AVANTASIA. She replaced Simone Simmons during an American tour and provided backing vocals for KAMELOT more than once, but was also successful with her solo album ‘Windows’. TRILLIUM started out in 2011 and brings together all her experiences in one mix of gothic, symphonic and progressive metal.

The English metal band PARADISE LOST celebrates its 25th anniversary this fall with a triple tour. During their band lifetime the band changed styles a few times from death/doom to electronic and finally ended up in gothic metal.  With the release of the albums ‘Icon’ (1993) and ‘Draconian Times’ (1995) Paradise Lost also became known as the pioneers of gothic metal. Their latest album ‘Tragic Idol’ came out in 2012.
