On 15th and 16th August 2014, Castle Broich in Mülheim invites for the 13th edition of Burgfolk festival and a journy into the world of myths and sagas. International and national bands from the scene will take care for a colourful spectacle with a wide spectrum of folk and medieval music. Following bands are already confirmed: Saltatio Mortis, Fiddler’s Green, InVictus, Troll Bends Fir, The Dolmen, Versengold, Ski’s Country Trash, Irish Bastards, Mr. Hurley & die Pulveraffen, In Search Of A Rose, Impius Mundi. Pre-sale is already started. Tickets are available at all known ticket offices and in the festival shop at www.burgfolk-festival.de.

Birmingham based psych doom band Alunah are proud to announce that they have signed a worldwide album deal with Napalm Records! Alunah worked with them previously on a limited vinyl release of the band's last record "White Hoarhound", and after demo-ing some new tracks entered talks with Napalm Records regarding a full worldwide recording and publishing contract. Napalm Records will release a limited edition digi-pack and gatefold LP; and Michael Cowell will illustrate the full packaging.

The motto of this year’s festival is “One Day To Remember –Two Days To Rock!” to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the festival in the atrium of the Schloss Broich (Castle Broich). Appropriate to this anniversary the inclined audience can revel in memories as well look forward to something new. Thus there will be on the Friday, the first day of the festival, mainly bands that impressed the older as well the younger history of this festival.
