This year’s edition of the Impericon Never Say Die! Tour takes place at Tivoli in Utrecht and as usual, the organisation put together a brutal line up of hardcore, metal and metalcore. Earlier editions of this tour featured big names such as COMEBACK KID, PARKWAY DRIVE and STICK TO YOUR GUNS.

And So I Watch You From Afar
Instrumental post-rock band AND SO I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR manages to put more notes in one song than their hometown has inhabitants. If you think that instrumental bands are boring, come and see these guys and you’ll definitely change your mind. Their energetic performance and excessive songs bursting with layers of melodies proves to be successful and rather one of a kind. After a self-titled production and the album ‘Gangs’ from 2011, the band released their third studio album ‘All Hail Bright Futures’ this year. Don’t miss out on this loud instrumental fiesta!

Adrian, the band’s mascot, in his brave battle against the forces of nature – the cover of the new Running Wild album Resilient documents emphatically: this band really is irrepressible. Their current studio production sees the metal galley from Northern Germany sail close to the metal wind again, tougher and more determined than ever. Captain Rock’n’Rolf Kasparek has come up with twelve storm-proof numbers, ten of which are scheduled for release on the regular CD on 7 October 2013 (Germany: 4 October US: 8 October), two additional bonus tracks will be included on the limited version of the album. There can be no doubt: Running Wild will proudly sail the pirate flag in the 38th year of their existence, effortlessly sailing through the straits of the business.

The Norwegian-German artist couple Lightshifters release their new single "The Storm". After their well received atmospheric debut-song "Luminous", a heavy storm from the north will take you away this time. Both tracks of the release, "The Storm" and "Fire", express the irresistible eruption of emotions, supported by a worked out electronic arrangement and powerful vocals. The single is available as a digital download on Bandcamp since Friday the 23rd of August and will be released by the band on CD end of September. This calls for a celebration: Just in time for Midsommar, the four smart guys from THE EXPLODING BOY can raise their glasses to their new record deal with Drakkar Entertainment. With an independent "pop-goth-post-punk-rock" sound, influenced by the eighties, the Swedish guys have become an established band in the music scene. THE EXPLODING BOY can present several hit-singles in the German-alternative-charts and over 50 live shows across Europe during the past years. Especially 2012 was a very successful year for the boys with festival shows at WGT, Blackfield, Nordstern and Summer Darkness, a small club tour and as a crowning final the New Year's Eve convert in New York. In Mid-October, the band will release the new album "Four". Here's the tracklist:
