ROCK MEETS CLASSIC with soloists Alice Cooper, Mick Box & Bernie Shaw from Uriah Heep, Kim Wilde, Midge Ure, Joe Lynn Turner and Mat Sinner with his band
Once again, the ROCK MEETS CLASSIC tour will be in 2014 an unforgettable concert experience at the highest stage. Already for the fifth time this unique crossover- project links, in a 3 hours lasting live programme, world- famous Rock-hits with emotionally Classic music, presented by legendary Rock musicians. With international top stars like IAN GILLAN (DEEP PURPLE), STEVE LUKATHER (TOTO) or LOU GRAMM (FOREIGNER) at the last four tours in concert halls, the line-up will now be completed with the announcement of the co-headliner MICK BOX and BERNIE SHAW from URIAH HEEP, who can look back on a more than 40 years band history and albums that were sold over 30 million times.

The Black Sheep do already have some stage kilometres behind them.. Having started as a girl school band in 2002, they have become a serious taker on the german pop rock field by now, at the latest since the publication of the debut album „Not Part of the Deal“ in 2009 over Roadrunner Records. A live gig at the Rockpalace of the WDR television was followed by tours with stars like Sunrise Avenue, The All American-Rejects, Social Distortion and In Extremo and their own „Crystal Ceiling Tour“ in 2010.

Berlin based Horror/Dark-Metal band EDEN WEIN IM GRAB currently works at the Winter-Solitude-Studio on their upcoming album 'Geysterstunde II'. The follower of 2001 album 'Geysterstunde I' develops the concept around apparition, spook and spiritualism further, leading the listener into gloomy, morbid and bizarre realms. After the acoustic album 'Nachtidyll' (2012), the band returns to heavy metal sounds. Currently, the band already recorded a elaborate music video with director Rainer ZIPP Fränzen (Dimmu Borgir, Atrocity, Leaves' Eyes, Faun etc.), to be finishes, like the album, in the first quarter of 2014. The release date is not set yet. You'll find some impressions from the studio at www.edenweintimgrab.de.

Graspop Metal Meeting 2014 is still 204 days away but already it's looking to be a vintage edition! For one thing, 2014 will go down in GMM history as the year we were finally able to realise our plans for a second main stage! Sitting shoulder to shoulder, main stage 1 and main stage 2 will feature the top bands and household names in our GMM2014 lineup. The Marquee and the Metal Dome create a more intimate setting and we're also erecting an open air stage in the Metal Plaza where fresh metal talent can earn their GMM spurs. A second main stage means even more metal fun. Our 2014 lineup will feature more than 100 bands on five stages and today we're proud to reveal the first 51 names for next summer.
