It took 3 years of work but now the time has come: Truckfighter's fourth studio-album “Universe” is out now all over Europe! North America will see “Universe” hitting stores on Feb 4th. For the release on the band's own label Fuzzorama Records, the Truckfighters were collaborating with the crowdfunding platform PledgeMusic and could raise 160% of their target. The new album sounds the bell for turbulent times: on Feb 13th Helsinki will be the kick-off for their four week "Tour of the Universe". Right after the first European leg of the tour Truckfighters will set sail for the US including several shows at SouthBySouthWest. The summer of 2014 will be marked by numerous festivals.

After the two studio albums Royal Republic now have released their Acoustic-EP “Royal Republic and The Nosebreakers” - but without losing their contagious adrenalin and confidence. They put out the Acoustic EP on their own, supported by the crowdfunding platform PledgeMusic. Their strong and loyal fan base all over Europe made it possible to fund 200% of their goal even though the campaign expires not until 28th Feb. After countless sold out shows and thrilling festival gigs during the past three years the feedback for the acoustic tour was stunning. There's no better way to describe the great success of the Wagner Reloaded concerts past summer. As a logical consequence of the brilliant shows and the album “Wagner Reloaded – Live in Leipzig”, the four Finns are now, during the work on their new studio-album, preparing their first tour with an orchestra. Therefore Apocalyptica rearranged the songs of all published albums to date for a full orchestra. The award-winning, renowned Finnish Avanti!-Orchestra will accompany the Quartet on this tour, which is not the first collaboration of the musicians:Paavo, Perttu and Eicca were part of this ensemble in the past.

By adding four new names, the ProgPower organization are taking another step towards completing this year's line-up. The following bands have been added: Aeon of Horus (Aus), Disperse (Pol), Voyager (Aus) and Cartographer (NL). It again shows the diversity of the ProgPower Europe festival. Earlier Pagan’s Mind, Jolly, Headspace, Chimp Spanner, Aeon Zen, Tenebris, Prospect and Vulture Industries where announced setting the total count to 12 bands so far. Only 2 more bands need to be announced to complete the full line-up.

Swedish Death Metallers ENTRAILS have just finished recording two songs to be released on a limited 7" vinyl single on the 28th of February! Side A will feature the title track "Berzerk", side B a cover of HEAVY LOAD's classic "Dreaming". The single will be available in black (300 copies), green (100 copies) and white (100 copies, excl. only available from HERE!). Comments ENTRAILS: "With a small sidestep from our work in the massive rehearsals for the new album we decided to do a halfway release. The new song "Berzerk" is a straight forward fist of fury and Death metal terror, with some eeire elements. It's a natural step from our latest album "Raging Death". It will also appear on the next longplayer, slightly different in every term as this single was recorded and mixed by Jimmy in Entrails own studio. We also decided to do a cover of Heavy Loads Classic "Dreaming" though we did this one the Entrails way with D-beats and massive sound!"
