Fame and fortune have always played a minor role in Kingdom Come mastermind Lenny Wolf's longstanding career. In fact, his more than 30 years as an artist have been fuelled first and foremost by musical challenges and the desire to keep evolving. His credo has always been: authenticity before commercial considerations. "Naturally, nobody is happier than I am when my music is loved by as many fans as possible," he says, "but these kinds of aspects are irrelevant when it comes to creating a new album. The only thing that matters is testing myself as an artist and embarking on new paths." Following a disagreement about the bands finances, drummer Dave Lombardo from Slayer has been replaced for their Australian tour. The tour is made up of appearances at Soundwave Festival and Sidewaves. Lombardo will be replaced by Jon Dette (Testament), who has toured with Slayer in the past. Dave Lombardo is the original drummer of Slayer and joined the band in 1981. In 1992 Lombardo took a break to be with his family but in 2002 he rejoined the band and has been in the lineup until now.

2013 brings along many great festivals, of course including the very special WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN. For 22 years, the festival established itself as the biggest festival of its kind, growing and growing from year to year. By now, about 20,000 people gather in Leipzig each year, plunging the city in dark colors. From May 17th to 20th Gothics from all over the world are expected to come together again in Leipzig to celebrate the Wave-Gotik-Treffen as THE international gathering of the dark family. More than 200 artists are confirmed every year, offering a great variety of different music styles and performances.
