January os over and finally, we move towards spring. Time, to look forward already to the festival season. Today, the line-up for Nordstern Festival was completed, except both newcomer bands to be announced in March. Newly confirmed bands are CAMOUFLAGE and DE/VISION!
Hard to believe, but CAMOUFLAGE wull celebrate their 30th anniversary this year. The band belongs to the spear heads of German synth pop scene from the very beginning and celebrated various chart entries, being loved also outside the scene. So, promoters are very happy to announce this band as headliner on the open air stage. Also DE/VISION are celebrating an anniversary this year: their 25th. In the cours eof the festival gig, they will present their new single, being yet untitled. Also DE/VISION will play at the open air stage on Saturday.

Diskonnekted has always been about breaking boundaries. For this little journey, Diskonnekted was especially influenced by a modern drum and bass sound: the stuff from Hospital Records for example, or the explosive mix between drum & bass and electrorock by Pendulum. Starting point was the track ‘Justify’ from the current album “Hotel Existence” that became an explosive club track after its special treatment. Starting with raving drum & bass breaks, the track evolves into a heavy guitar driven crossover beast. The Norwegian lawyer Bjørn Alexander Brem and his band GOTHMINISTER are in for a possibly shockingly different show in the Norwegian EVS semifinals in Larvik, today, February 2nd – prepare for some visual surprises with zombies and undead... the winners of tonight's semifinal will participate in the Norwegian final later, whose winner then will repesent Norway at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö (Sweden). The brand new GOTHMINISTER song "Utopia" (which will be performed by the band in the semifinal) is available nowe as digital single.
