Danish modern metallers MNEMIC have recently finished their recording marathon in the Antfarm studios in Aabyhøj, Denmark and can now share some red-hot news on their upcoming 5th studio record with you! Guitarist Mircea issues the following statement:
“We can say that the new record is done, completed and our mission is finally accomplished. Since the disruption and chaos within the band last year, and the acquirement of new members, I never thought we would make it this far. Today everything converged and we ascended from the depths of turmoil, catharsis and hard work everyone has put into this new record, which is entitled “Mnemesis”. Yes, again we chose something no one can pronounce, just like our band mname.

Today the iconic thrash metal band TANKARD from Frankfurt entered the Studio in Buchen/ Odenwald. Jointly with the producer Michael Mainx (Onkelz, der W, Disbelief, D-A-D) the alcoholic metal outfit are going to record the soundtrack for their thirty-years anniversary and Nuclear Blast debut. Producer Michael Mainx commented: "I'm really looking forward to go on the second round with TANKARD to record the songs for their 30-years anniversary album worthily and sustain the successful and direfully work together with the thrash metal veterans from Frankfurt."

Although Since Monroe sounds like an incredible film about the glamorous Marilyn Monroe and the legacy she’s left behind, it’s actually the name of the latest indie rockers from Birmingham, who are making waves with their awesome compilation of tremor tracks of terrific proportions. The band have infused an incredible amount of eclectic musical skills and talent to create indie rock that’s sure to send sonic shockwaves bursting through speakers near you soon. The indie scene has become a bit varied over the last few years, but Since Monroe are a force that puts the essence of indie back into a genre we all love, in one way or another.

Born in 2009 from the ashes of french metalcore band Draftdown, THE PRESTIGE, an hi-energy quartet from Paris, which plays a mix between (post) chaotic hardcore, intense punk, metal and rock under constant injection of adrenaline, will release its debut full length album on April 3rd through Basement Apes Industries, Brain Ache, Enjoyment Records & Tangled Talk. In waiting for the album, entitled "Black mouths", THE PRESTIGE has just dropped on YouTube its first music video for the song "The truth", also available for free download through Bandcamp! Harnessing an array of emotions such as anger, resentment and a sense of social disillusionment Partly Faithful layer these themes through stories of vitriolic romanticism entwined with a wry sense of bitterness. Taking away the rose tinted lenses of society Partly Faithful echo the deadpan dark melodic delivery of the ‘Pornography’ era of The Cure via Echo & The Bunnymen combined with the moody undertones of Bauhaus, early Danse Society, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and Joy Division.
