Hellnights Tour 2010: Blitzkid, The Other, Nim Vind, Banane Metalik
Every year anew there comes a time when people get dressed up in creepy costumes, stroll around in their neighbourhood and ask around for sweets. Short time before what we know as Halloween begins, there’s a group of bands from the Horror punk genre joining forces to bring the Hell Nights upon Germany. For 2010, another high-class line-up has been assembled. Let’s start with this little band called THE OTHER, who has caused a stir with their recently released new album ‘New Blood’.

CLIENT is a futurist British musical group from Rotherham, England who have toured extensively throughout Europe and Asia. They are most popular in Germany where they have had most commercial success. They combine Scandinavian airline hostess uniforms with glamour-girl aesthetics and harsh electronics to create a sound reminiscent of early forays into electronic sound manipulation and New Wave. Their uniforms have become their trademark. Their current album ‘Command’ was released 1.5 years ago, the new single is called ‘Make me believe in you’ (download only single on iTunes, Musicload, Napster...). In October this year, CLIENT will perform 4 shows in Germany at the following dates:

Due to the debut single `Metalhammer´ (1990) - which has been a club hit up to now - the Synth Pop / Electro formation AND ONE became popular in the German Alternative music scene. At the beginning, the founders Steve Naghavi (vocals) and Chris Ruiz (keyboards) were strongly influenced by EBM heroes such as FRONT 242. Later on, they focused on melodic Synth Pop. Meanwhile, AND ONE released ten studio albums that offer a combination of German and English (sometimes funny) lyrics, fancy cover versions and danceable Synth sounds.

She can be righteously deemed one of the great artists of our time. With song such ‘All I Wanna Do’ or ‘If It Makes You Happy’ she’s produced some genuine world hits amongst others. For the first one she even received a Grammy award and that wouldn’t remain the only ones in her illustrious career. Ever since her debut album ‘Tuesday Night Music Club’ has been released in 1993, she’s released six more diversified records, most of them fusing rock, folk, country and pop with a heartfelt and impressing vocal performance.
