When their emerged in the early 1980s, they quickly built a reputation with their then-scandalous acts while playing a live show. Most prominently Blackie Lawless is remembered for such things as throwing raw meat into an audience. Following the release of their debut EP ‘Animal (F**k Like a Beast)’, they signed to Capitol Records for the release of their debut LP ‘L.O.V.E. Machine’ which became an overwhelming success and their audience would continue to expand within the following years.

Jon Nödtveidt was best known for being the founding member of the Swedish black/death metal group Dissection, which was strongly associated with Anti-Cosmic Satanism and the Occult. The group disbanded in 2006 after Nödtveidt after his sudden death. Not many people know that Jon was involved in a number of musical projects, such as The Black, Nifelheim, Ophthalamia, Siren’s Yell an Terror (with members of At The Gates). De Infernali was also one of those projects but this time the music ventured into an entirely different dimension of brutality…- Details

If you followed the DAC this summer, it is striking that while the successful Front Line Assembly album "Improvised Electronic Device" and the first single "Shifting Through The Lens" defended the leading chart positions, another track from the album had been picked by lots of DJ’s and entered the German club charts as well: "Angriff". This track has developed to a club hit and therefore FLA have decided to release “Angriff” as an EP with five new versions, a radio edit and two previously unreleased tracks. Remixers include PROJECT PITCHFORK, Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson / KMFDM), MINDLESS FAITH, and their tour mates MIND.IN.A.BOX.
